• Include images from subdirectories - allowing easier image management
• limit the number of thumbnails displayed - present a cleaner page
• randomise the thumbnails displayed - give a dynamic feel to the page

As before, this module is designed to accompany the SimBook component and is fully Joomla! 1.5 native; it resizes images on the fly.

Strange as it may seem, I haven't used SimBook for a site; it was just an idea that I had.

Following closely on the heels of SimBook v1.0 we are pleased to introduce SimBook v1.1 which introduces annotation and URLs for images. It's something we knew was needed from day one so although it wasn't long coming we still ought to say sorry about the delay...

A module to display thumbnails has been released. It is designed to accompany the SimBook component. Like the SimBook component this module is fully Joomla! 1.5 native and resizes images on the fly. Configuration for the module is simple and uses only three parameters...

• The menu used for the full SimBook display
• The directory with the images (optional - only used if you do not specify a directory above)
• Thumbnail size
