Welcome to the home of SimBook.
SimBook is a native component for Joomla! 1.5 that displays images of different sizes and formats against a user configurable background; simulating a scrapbook.
Simple Installation & Configuration
Installation is very straightforward and only one setting is required to select the directory of images to be displayed. The menu items on the left under SIMBOOK SAMPLES show...
- The basic SimBook installation with no confiiguration showing a getting started guide
- One change to the menu brings up a different, annotated background which helps explain how SimBook places the different images on the background image
- It's quite simple to add your own, differently sized background and the third sample shows the standard Getting Started Guide on an alternative background.
- Finally, with one change from the standard installation (to select the directory where the collection of images is stored) we use SimBook to display the portfolio of fashion designer Liz Clay.

Motivate!
Please motivate me! I've received a few comments on SimBook at the Joomla! extensions site but I'd love some more feedback. The more comments I get the more time I'll spend improving the product. I'm not [currently] doing it for the money. I just want the fame and glory - ok and a few JED stars.
